Prince Charles Chair

This is the Prince Charles Side Chair, a collaboration between Peter Shire and Modernica Studio. Some years ago, Modernica bought the original molds of the Eames Shell Chairs from Herman Miller. They just didn’t buy the rights to the name, so they can’t call them Eames chairs. Actually Modernica still produces the fiberglass version, Vitra on the other hand produces a plastic version.

The Objectified Poster

Objectified is the most anticipated movie of the year.It is actually a feature-length documentary about our complex relationship with manufactured objects and, by extension, the people who design them. The graphic design studio Build designed the logo and this poster. The logo is hidden in the 6th row, the bottom row shows you the products used to make this film.

Hemeroscopium House by Ensamble Studio

The Hemeroscopium House by Ensamble Studio. It only took 7 days to build the structure, just look at the massive beams. The 20 ton granite stone on top is a counterweight to the whole structure. Amazing!
